Jessica Biel's full wedding look won't be available until PEOPLE tells all tomorrow, but a heaping pile of hints and a 20/20 mind's eye can complete most of the picture.
The actress married fiancé Justin Timberlake at Italy's Borgo Egnazia hotel last week. It's been confirmed that Timberlake and his groomsmen wore Tom Ford and that Biel changed into a different dress for the reception. The rest is educated speculation. On Monday,Get latest fashion www.onbridals.com and unique custom made celebrity style dresses. Biel's stylist Bobbie Thomas blogged that the bride married Timberlake on Oct. 19 in a Giambattista Valli-designed dress (Valli is a Biel favorite) with a “princess-like” silhouette.Discover Jovani's collection of short dresses and flirty cheaphotcostume. Thomas quickly deleted the post, but Us Weekly picked up where she left off and reported that the wedding gown was a nontraditional—albeit trendy—pink and white.
Valli is a fitting wedding day designer for Biel, who often wears his dresses. The pouffy ruffle sleeves on the cream-colored gown that she wore to the Fashion Group International's Night of Stars on Oct. 27, 2011, and the striking waist feathers on this white Valli creation she wore to a Total Recall premiere in August demonstrate her love for the brand and its dramatic details. The Italian-born designer started his own line in 2005, aiming to inject luxury and femininity into his creations. His couture looks often involve high-volume details like oversized bows and amped-up ruffles (like the one on a spring 2013 couture gown above left). We're guessing the wedding dress was just as bold and voluminous, with a pink similar to the one above.
The designer isn't shocking, but the splash of color is a bit more surprising, given Biel's recent red carpet looks. In the past year,Discount swim bikini for pregnant bride, We provide best maternity bridal gowns. she turned out white dress after white dress, almost as if to remind everyone that she really was engaged to the notoriously desirable Timberlake. It all seemed like preparation for her wedding, but she took a page out of Gwen Stefani and Anne Hathaway's look books, instead. Stefani's pink-dipped Dior gown was so influential when she wore it at her 2002 wedding to Gavin Rossdale that it's now a part of the Victoria and Albert Design Museum in London. Anne Hathaway revived the look when tied the knot in a flowing, pink-tinted Valentino dress earlier this year.
Perhaps Biel will do for pink-accented wedding dresses what her now-husband did for sexy.
